A triumphant return to form for one of the world's great frontmarks, the H. Upmann Vintage Cameroon cigar recaptures a long-forgotten magic. First introduced to the world in the 1970's, the original and stunningly delicious Dominican-born H. Upmann stogie owed much of its heralded success to its trademark African Cameroon wrapper. The infamous Cigar Boom of the mid 1990's led to such severe tobacco shortages that an Indonesian-sourced wrapper had to be substituted and while still wonderful, H. Upmann smokes had lost a piece of their soul. Now, the medium-strength Vintage Cameroon, containing a revamped blend of longleaf filler from Peru, Nicaragua, and the Dominican Republic, plus a Nicaraguan binder, has righted the wrongs of the past.
